Javascript is a high-level interpreted scripting language used mainly for frontend tasks such as providing logic to more complicated pieces of a website's functioning.

It is often used alongside HTML and CSS on the web, but can also be used on the backend to build APIs and even to make fully-fledged mobile apps using frameworks like Cordova and React Native.

How I Use Javascript

I personally use Vanilla Javascript to provide logic for webapps I've built, when no additional frameworks are necessary.

Web frameworks like VueJS, Svelte, Ember.js and React are built on top of Javascript and help to improve productivity and simplify the actual process of building the apps.

What I've Built

Every website I've built relies on Javascript in one form or another. For example, this website was built using Gatbsy, a Javascript framework that produces static sites.
